With launch in 2016, superyacht Admiral 52 is an elegant and stylish, high-tech 52-metre craft, built by the prestigious Italian shipyard, Admiral. Her very modern exterior design is by Dobroserdov Design from Monaco.

Tecnomar shipyard has also commissioned to Auxilia to equip Admiral 52 with the AUXILIA Electric Propulsion System. The yacht will have a revolutionary hybrid power system with four MAN V12 1800 (1324 kW @ 2300 rpm) as main diesel engines and two electric propulsion systems. 

The reduction/reverse gearboxes are double input and single output. Further there is a controllable pitch propeller system. The combination of these systems will push the yacht to a top speed of 24 knots, impressive for a boat of this size. Also remarkable is that when using only electric motors the yacht, at a speed of 9 knots (or more), will only consume 95 liters per hour with an impressive range of 6.000 Nm.
